On
Sunday, April 25, 2010, while walking into the BX
(Base Exchange)
at Fort
Lee,
Virginia, I noticed a lady sitting at a table as I walked in the door.
I didn't really pay much attention to the lady or what was on
the
table. I knew she was selling something and
thinking to myself at the time, I don't have my
business
cards on me. My routine is to offer my business card to people
I
see when I'm out and about as a way of advertising my website,
BlackAmericaLibrary.com. But, since I didn't have my cards with me, I
decided, oh well, I'll catch her on the way
out.
On
the way out of the store. I figured we'll stop by and say a
few
words. Ask a few questions about her product and find out
where
else she's advertising. I'll make my pitch about
BlackAmericaLibrary.com, offer her some free advertisement and leave.
Which is exactly what I did with one exception. We
ended up buying the book she was selling on the table.
Buying something wasn't in my plan, you
know
what
I'm saying, LOL. My plan was to make my pitch about
my
website, and leave.
But, how can you refuse to buy "PIMPS
IN THE PULPIT" written by Best
Selling Author, Shannon R. Bellamy? Who was sitting at the
table
on her book signing tour. WOW, what a honor to meet someone
who has the courage to share their true life story as
she
have. Hats off to you Shannon.
